Nolasco: A career marked by evolution and musical fusion
Born in El Viso del Alcor in 1976, Nolasco began his career performing in small venues, first as a percussionist and then as a vocalist and composer. In 2007, he released his first album Como te dé la gana, which catapulted him to the national scene with hits like “Las cosas pequeñitas”. Since then, he has built a solid and unique career, characterized by the fusion of flamenco, pop, rock, and electronic sounds.
With over 1,200 concerts under his belt, Nolasco has continued to explore new musical horizons. Albums such as 12 noches en blanco y un final por escribir (2008), Off (2010), El color de la felicidad (2012), Nuevos atardeceres (2013), and Fuego en el cielo (2017) have consolidated his personal style. His latest work, Petricor (2023), showcased him in his most mature phase, blending genres like folk and electronics, and collaborating with artists of the caliber of Cherisse Osei and Diego Carrasco. This album, inspired by smells and sensations, deeply connected with his audience thanks to its versatility and authenticity.
Now, in 2024, Nolasco is immersed in the creation of his ninth album, Henko, which will be released in the fall of 2025. This new project explores the concept of personal transformation and promises to be a fundamental work in his career. As a preview, the singles “Pintor de sueños”, featuring José Ortega “Manzanita”, and “Vive el bip” have already been released, marking the beginning of a new stage in his artistic evolution.
With twenty years of professional career, Nolasco continues to maintain the enthusiasm and energy that have accompanied him from the beginning, demonstrating that his connection with the audience and his ability to reinvent himself remain the driving force of his career.
